Upgrading and A&A of Tanglin Trust School Sports Roof

Tanglin Trust School is a one hundred year old established international school in Singapore that offers a premium education for the international students in Singapore. The school is constantly upgrading their campus to offer the best facilities for their student and staff community.

The Sports Roof is located in the Junior School Block of Tanglin Trust School that provides a venue for sports activities such as futsal, baskball, netball, etc. It is proposed to shelter the roof with tensile roof that offers a good rain shelter with permeating daylight and cross ventilation, where the roof is designed with a mix of PTFE and fritted ETFE tensile materials that allows permeation of daylight into the sports roof which is finished with sports polyurethane flooring material.

The sports roof would therefore add to the vibrancy of Tanglin Trust School community that offers the students a safe space for recreational sports and a social gathering space that rises above the hustle and bustle of daily school life.
