The Staggered Volume house is a semi-detached house that the family of 4 envisaged to be a multi-generational house with a focus on generous spaces, cross-ventilation, all-round views and outdoor terraces to add to the living experiences within the house.

A continuous through view and generous living/dining defines the welcome experience of the house, followed by a naturally lit stairwell with its dramatic cantilever staircase design, leads the guests up to the upper storeys. Bedrooms at the upper storeys would encircle around a naturally lit open family room that is cozy in scale and naturally lit with windows and skylight, allowing daylight into the space.

The house is designed with 3 volumes that stagger from each other, to give the house a dynamic look from the outside. Cantilevering ledges would add to the staggering effect of the volumes. The result is a clean, simple yet dramatic house with a cozy interior to suit the lifestyles of a young family of four.
